Winch runs on your Mac. There is no account to create, no tracking and no analytics. The only cookies this website sets are the chat's.

What stays on your Mac

Your apps, keywords, rankings, listings, reviews, conversations and the art Winch draws are kept on your Mac, and so are your store and AI keys. None of it is sent to us.

What leaves your Mac

Winch reads the App Store and Google Play the way a shopper would. If you connect App Store Connect or the Play Console, it talks to Apple and Google with your own keys, and changes your listing only when you confirm. When you use AI, it sends what the task needs to the AI you chose, under that provider's terms. If you connect GitHub or Slack, it posts the review themes you choose, with excerpts from those reviews, to your repo or channel with your own token or webhook. Dictation uses Apple's speech recognition.

What we receive

To keep your license active, Winch sends us your license key, a key that identifies this Mac, the Mac's name, and the versions of Winch and macOS. When you buy, Stripe takes the payment and gives us your email address so we can send your key. Update checks carry nothing of yours.

This website

The chat on this website is Crisp's. It loads from Crisp and sets cookies that keep your conversation. Crisp sees your IP address, your browser and the page you're on, and what you write, along with any email address you give, goes to Crisp and to us, under Crisp's privacy policy.

When you press Buy, Cloudflare Turnstile first checks that a person, not a script, is buying. It loads from Cloudflare only then, and reads your IP address, your browser and its connection to tell people from bots, not to identify or follow you. Then Stripe's checkout takes over.

What we don't do

We don't sell or share your data, show ads, or collect analytics, telemetry or crash reports.

Your rights

Ask us what we hold about you, and we will correct or delete it. Winch is not directed at children. If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
